organizing stories connects students with veteran activists who think politically, historically, and ethically about storytelling in their organizing work

vision

Organizing Stories will create new avenues of exchange between Princeton University and community-based, social justice work. Together with students and activists, we will imagine new ways to support and amplify a scholarly-activist praxis that builds on a tradition of connecting intellectual work and movement work.

method

honor activist's intellectual labor

We honor the work of organizers and activists as, in part, deeply discursive and intellectual labor.

We prioritize relationship-building between Princeton students and the activists themselves.

think collaboratively through workshops and digital spaces

We bring students and organizers together to think collaboratively about engaged storytelling, justice and activism.

build connections between social justice work and scholarship
